Accessibility Statement

At TATUUM, a fashion and design brand, we believe that style and quality should be accessible to everyone. We strive to make our e-commerce platform user-friendly and accessible to all users, regardless of their individual needs. We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level and the EN301549 standard, creating a digital environment that promotes inclusivity.

Despite our efforts, we are aware that the TATUUM e-commerce platform currently only partially meets these requirements – some of its elements are not yet fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

How accessible is the tatuum.com platform?

The www.tatuum.com website partially meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1 level AA.

The areas identified for improvement include:

- Graphics containing text content

- Limited accessibility of navigation menu elements

- Incorrectly labelled search engine

- Problems with forms

- Hamburger menu unavailable when zoomed to 200%

- Insufficient labelling, handling and focus management in modals

- Lack of adequate user feedback

How are we improving the tatuum.com platform?

We are constantly working to improve the accessibility of our website. As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusivity, the platform has undergone an accessibility audit in collaboration with our technology partner. Areas requiring change have been identified and will be implemented gradually.

As part of our work, we have already implemented the following changes:

- Modal ‘Country, currency and language selection’

- Cookie message errors

- Too low contrast of text and non-text elements

- Pagination accessibility issues

- Keyboard accessibility of buttons ensured (keyboard-only operation is possible)

- Clear error messages with appropriate feedback read by assistive technologies

The accessibility statement will be updated as work progresses.
