For wool, it is recommended to hand wash in lukewarm water using a mild detergent or to machine wash on a special programme for delicate fabrics. Avoid vigorous rubbing and wringing to prevent damaging the fibres. After washing, remove excess water with a towel and dry flat, away from direct heat sources. Store in a dry place, preferably with lavender or cedar, to prevent moths.
